1.0 Overview
The MS-25FS Fully Automatic Three-Knife Trimmer is designed for trimming the three edges of books that have a certain thickness and rough edges. After aligning the books, they are fed into the machine, clamped by the book pusher, and automatically moved to the cutting station where the three sides are trimmed and then ejected (primarily for perfect-bound books). The machine is equipped with various advanced functions, including pneumatic book clamping, pneumatic book pressing, servo-driven book feeding, front knife servo, side knife servo, left stopper servo, book alignment servo, main drive servo, and an integrated knife platform.
The book feeding channel is independently equipped with a feeding belt and an automatic start/stop function. Additionally, anti-scratch ball bearings are added to the feeding channel to minimize scratches on the bottom of some books, ensuring high cutting accuracy and fast adjustment speed, among other advantages. This makes the MS-25FS an ideal solution for commercial and high-end printing users.
1.1 Working Process (same as MS-25F)
Once the power is turned on, the book feeding mechanism sends the book to the book pusher, where it is clamped and moved to the cutting station. At this point, the book pressing device quickly presses the book down, and the book pusher releases the book and returns to its starting position for the next cycle. Meanwhile, the two side knives trim the two side edges, and the front knife trims the front edge. Once the front knife finishes its cut, it returns, and the book pressing device releases the book. The book is then pushed out by the second feeding mechanism onto the book delivery conveyor and ejected, completing one work cycle.
